We recently completed such a project, which involved high-end speakers.

The case component was a high-end, wireless, Bluetooth speaker set that would be promoted by a sales force. Given the type of product and use for the case, an upscale presentation was essential. It was also imperative that the case and the foam insert safeguard the speaker set during extended transport and use. In short, we needed to produce 50 portable, compact, elegant and protective sales kit cases.

Upon ascertaining the component’s use and the transport needs involved, we suggested a Seahorse 920 case. This particular case is waterproof, has wide tracked wheels for easy maneuvering, and a telescoping handle for ease of use – and it has a lifetime guarantee. Its black hue provided the perfect backdrop for the items.

Once the speaker set arrived at our facility, we took the necessary measurements then started the design process. We needed to accommodate components of varying sizes. Using our sophisticated design software, we designed a foam insert for the case lid that addressed the issue.

With such sensitive components, we choose to use 1.8 #HRC polyethylene foam, which offers superior cushioning, vibration dampening and shock absorption. It is also non-abrasive, dust-free, and chemical / water resistant. We cut the foam using an automatic die cutter.
